CatVando is a Trap–Neuter–Return (TNR) rescue organization committed to reducing community cat overpopulation through education, sterilization, and compassionate care. Every day, we step in where there is no one else — for the injured, the abandoned, the forgotten.

We support community cat caretakers, ensure cats are spayed and neutered, rescue friendly cats and vulnerable kittens from unsafe conditions, and provide medical care to those who are sick or injured. We also serve as a sanctuary and hospice. Cats who are not adoptable — or who need lifelong care — have a permanent, safe home with us. They are never turned away once they are ours.

But right now, we are facing an urgent financial strain.

CatVando operates two buildings in addition to maintaining outdoor colonies. That means food every day. Litter every day. Medical care every day. The expenses never stop — and neither do the needs.

Then came Katie.

Her medical case is exceptionally complex and extraordinarily expensive. The cost of giving her a chance at comfort and survival is far beyond what we anticipated. In easier financial times, we could absorb a bill like this. Today, it stretches us to the brink.

When Katie needed us, we said yes.

Now we need you to say yes to her.

We cannot undo the care she has already received, and we would never choose to let her suffer. But continuing to provide for her — and for the dozens of other cats who depend on us — requires immediate financial support.

Your donation today will go directly toward:
• Critical veterinary bills
• Food and litter for our sanctuary cats
• Ongoing medical care for injured and sick cats
• Sustaining safe shelter for those with nowhere else to go

Every dollar matters. Every share matters. Every act of generosity helps ensure we can keep our doors open and continue saying “yes” when the next cat arrives
